Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, wheat, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and wheat, with a light burnt edge, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle 50cl.Unclear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, banana, rubber notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090321]

500ml bottle from Utobeer. Cloudy dark brown, big thick beige head. Really quite sweet on the malts, a bit like the straight weizen, it lacks any real flavour or character.

Bottle, 4.9%. Sweet and malty aroma, almost sugary. Hazy brown colour, small head. The flavour is not as sweet as the aroma suggests. Some malt though, but a slightly dry finish. OK balanced.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange to amber with a slowly collapsing and light tan head. Mild roasted aroma with a solid wheaty ester aroma. Flavour is sweet and banana fruity with a mild yeasty touch. Light malty flavour mixed with estery notes into the finish. Ends fruity and medium dry.

Bottle. Sweet orange-banana and toffee malt aroma. Cloudy brown color with a hint of orange and moderate white head. Sweet orange and light malt flavor - high acidity and moderate carbonation. Flavor extremely light. Nothing bad but just not much there.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine aroma, fine foam. The could be a little bit more fruity and a little bit stronger. Nevertheless a good dunkelweizen.

(Bottle 50 cl) Cloudy amber colour with only a small head. Soft, oily mouthfeel but not overly aromatic. This lacks some fruit and complexity - please tune up the flavours. 190203
