Ons zeer gesmaakt streekbier is amberkleurig, van hoge gisting met nagisting in de fles. Het unieke bier met moutzoetig karakter werd gebrouwen ter gelegenheid van de inhuldiging van het nieuwe gemeentehuis op 22 september 2001. De naam van het streekbier brengt eer aan de stevige veekoopmannen van Bertem, de Teussers.

LCRBM2: "vanillevla" (thick sweetened milk with vanilla) aroma. Lemon and vanillevla in the flavor. Yoghurt in the aftertaste.

bouteille 33cl. Label original pour le décor paysan-terroir. Ambre, mousse blanche épaisse. Arôme malt avec caramel, fleur houblon avec en retrait qcq fruits tropicaux. En bouche, malt, note de sucre brun, aspect pils laissant fine amertume au fini et au palais. Reste agréable tout en ayant un côté un peu butterscotch sucré sur la fin, le tout se mélange bien avec l’ajout floral du houblon.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium amber color with many tiny sized body particles, a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, earth. Flavor is moderate to light heavy malt sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, light to moderate spicy sweet finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091004]

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy amber with floating impurities and a creamy off-white head leaving some laces. Aroma of caramel, overripe fruit and spices. Solid body, lots of brown sugar and an underlying tartness. No bitterness. 041009

Orange, muddy body. Aroma of hops. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet. Very uninteresting. Without knowing the brewery, I guessed De Proef. Well I’m right and it really is a typical Proef brew, which says it all.
