Beautiful deep dark color with some red tones, no head. Malty cherryaroma. Roasted malt flavor. Absolutely dry beer, but maybe a bit thin. Some hidden apple fruitiness. Not as great as some raters might suggest, but still a good beer, worth a try.

30cl bottle. BB 12/08. Trade with Thewolf. Pours amber with a reddish hew and a small stable creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is sweet of bread, dark fruits. Vaguely roasted caramel. Smooth and full palate. A bit of vinousness and lightly sticky. Taste has lots of caramel, bread and even some chocolate. Very nice.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor. The finish is dry.

(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Vintage 2005. Hazy, reddish brown with big, floating impurities and a small, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. Rather full-bodied with some sweetish, roasted malt. The finish is dry. OK, but not exactly outstanding. 230807
