Bottle shred in W2 - thanks to Fergus and his box. Pours clear yellow with a slight, foamy head. The nose holds dry cereal, light dough, faint paper, straw. Light sweet flavor, quite dry, with more simple grainy cereal, bitter grass and hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry on the finish, with more crispy grains and hay. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Fergus. It pours clear pale yellow with a small white head. The aroma is dull, muted pale grain, paper, cheap white bread and grass. The taste is crisp, soft of sweet, buttered white bread, grassy bitterness, paper and peppery spice with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. So-so.

Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu Pils, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar. (12.2.2016.)

"World’s Best Pils / Pilsner 2010" according to WBA. pours clear yellow with a small white head and some lacing. nice and hoppy (grassy kind) with a malty base. full-bodied, oily mouthfeel, bittersweet finish. becomes even better when it is not too cold. not your average pils.

Many thanks to Tina. Smooth mild beginning. Easy to drink, not too deep with grainy parts. Moderate bitter grainy aftertaste, a bit dusty.

500ml bottle. Pours a classic filtered yellow-tan. Big frothy white head, steady. Grassy noble hops and classic brewhouse aroma. Pretty solid Pils, perhaps a touch lighter that some of its German brethren. Biting dry hops and a very clean malt backbone. Quite an enjoyable beer.
