Hachenburger schwarzbier – the black pilsner. An extraordinarily striking black beer with a slender, not too massive body. The precious, roasted dark malts provide a unique aroma and colour.

Dark chestnut colour, foamy off-white head. Roasted and strawlike malt, some fresh bitterhop nose. Doughy full malt base, light herbal hops - would probably have called it a dunkel in a blind tasting, a quite satisfying one at that.
