On tap at Wagner Merkendorf. Cloudy orange gold colour lasting ivory head. Banana malty aroma. More balanced than the Hummel before it. More malt more acidity on the finish. The back end is better than the aroma. Fullish mouth feel. The long persisting dry lemon and banana finish is pleasant. OK. Some tropical fruit develops. Decent. A little vanilla.

On tap at Akkurat. Hazy yellow/orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of banana, wheat, some orange and some light spices. Also notes of yeast in the finish. Fairly soft and easy to drink.

--> nichts Besonderes....

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty-yeasty, fine spicy. Not too dry. A bit sourish. Interesting hints of butter cookies. Well balanced finish. Nice!

Ogi’s, thanks! Opened with a huge pop, but no spillage. Misty golden-yellow body with a huge, thick white head. Light glue and lemon in the nose, weak cloves. Mild malty/clovey taste, yeasty presence. Now, I know I’m not saying much, but those are my notes... oh well. I liked it.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 19.12.2012
Aroma is somewhat floury with strong yeasty notes, slight fruitiness, citrus and hints of bubblegum. Flavour is somewhat sweet with yeasty notes, some semi-ripe banana and bubblegum. A bit unpleasant cardboard and stickyness in the finish. Good hefe still.
