Malt and salt in the aroma. Malt and licorice in the flavor. Butter and salt. Hardly any bitterness. Still a tasty beer.

Clear medium golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma sweet malt, light caramel, hay. Taste medium sweet and light to medium bitter, malty, biscuity, light caramel, grassy and spicy notes. Grainy sweetbitter aftertaste, sugary notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, quite refined and nice export.

Lichtgeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig maar voor een export type tocht ietwat te zoet. Er zij betere naar mijn mening.

(screw cap bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, yellow colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Strawy and doughy malty aroma with shy traces of honey and grassy, slightly herbal hops. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Strawy and delicately biscuity malt-character with drying spicy hops in the background; dry-ish bitter-sweet doughy and delicately grainy malty finish with a mildly herbal and grassy hoppy touch. 15.XI.14

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Fergus. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth but dry pale malts, sweet but also pretty papery. Forensic trace of citric hop. Dry finish. Very papery.

Bottle shared in Hackney - thanks to Fergus. Pours clear, pale yellow with a foamy, white head. The aroma holds sugary white bread, paper, pale grain, hay. Light sweet flavour with more pale grains, papery notes, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, faint biscuits. So so.
