Mycket gott

Can, 7.20am, on a flight from Sofia to Prague - July 2010. Pours clear honey-gold, highly effervescent, with a thin, filmy white head. Doughy bread in the aroma, faint cereal and caramel, light hops. Mild sweetness in the flavour, then earthen bitterness and slight pine. Medium bodied and bubbly with a short, dry finish. Pretty good stuff.

clear dark golden colour, medium sized dense and quite long lasting white head; aroma of hay, grainy-bread crusty, grassy and herbal hoppy, as well as maybe minimal citrusy notes; taste of definite hoppy bitterness with malty-bread crusty notes; for sure, it is a quite goon pilsner, though obviously it was the worst value for money rating of mine...3.5 CHF, around 3.6 EUR or around 1.500 HUF for an industrial Czech lager...well, it is not a best buy, for sure - but it is a Michael Jackson 500 beer, as I have just realized...I wish I could have realized it a few years earlier...then it would have been ticked for 0.5 EUR :)
