Our Hackney take on a traditional Hefeweizen. Expect the usual fruit and spice of a wheat beer with subtle orange and lemon flavours to give this old favourite an East London twist. Expect a gloriously hazy pour with a fluffy white head. Once you take your first sip youll be delighted by the slightly tart tang of the wheat and the unmistakeable hit of banana and clove provided by the yeast. Best served in a tall vase style glass for the most authentic drinking experience, St Clements is the ultimate refreshment, whether enjoyed beside the Rhine or the Thames.

Keg @ Cromwell's Tap House. Pours a misty golden yellow, white head. Pleasant floral aroma, lemony hints, yeast. Good lemony wit character to taste.. nice yeasty side.. and cold!

0,44 boks på Muswell Hillbilly Taproom, delt med Steven: uklar gylden utmerket skum helt ned. Banan, nellik, appelsin og koriander. Fin maltkropp. Good one.

Keg at the brewpub. Aroma has sweet banana puree and a clove edge. Opaque gold, rather than cloudy. Thick foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Citrus edge. Spice and herbs. Underlying sweet hints. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Achives the expectations of the style. Not bad.

First one to drink this. Well done. It’s a nice Wheatbeer. Not typical German but great.
