Our interpretation of a Munich Helles is softly malty, smooth and rounded with a tiny flourish of herbaceous hop bitters on the back end. Sessionable, clean and very very moreish.

On tap at Fuggles Cafe Tonbridge. Clear gold colour lasting white head lager yeast aroma. OK in mouth. Very much like a Helles. Pretty decent. True to style.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours pale lemon with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma has continental hops and bready grains. It the mouth it is sweet and crisp with continental hops again prominent, plus traces of citrus and biscuits. A little bitterness creeps in later, leading to a slightly dry finish. This is a decent lager.

On tap at Pressure Drop X Verdant. Clear golden with medium white head. Clean and easy going, not too sweet, malty, frainy. Touch of bitterness.
