Blonde and cloudy. Flowery and citric aroma with a hint of vinegar. Malty, almost sugary sweet hopbitter flavor with hints of citrus and mustard. Thin, in fact too thin. Tasty. Potentially a very good brew, but lacks balance.

* Old rating, 0,33l crown-top bottle, best before 05.10.06. Mild-herbes Bier. Grasig-frisch, intensiv herb zum Nachgeschmack, würzig.

Deep golden beer with lively carbonation to a very fine & dense white head; end of bottle fully hazy. Very malty nose, slightly toasted & sweetish, even bready. Parsley-stuffed German Sauerbrot, water-soaked. Quite worts-like taste, like not fully fermented. Sweet main taste, but allways with this sourish bready flavour blending in. Despite the worts character, rather light, grist slickness. "Bof!" It fhis is what they drink in Åsgard, I’m going to teach those Vikings a little drinking lesson, bringing a few Rocheforts along...

Bottle. Good head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma is very malty. Taste is watery, yet very distinct taste of hops and malt.

Bottle. Creamy white good fully lasting head. Yeloow cloudy colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Watery flavor, short finish, not the best classic german pilsener.

(bottle) Cloudy and hazy orange to golden colour with a diminishing frothy white head. Sweet worty and yeasty, slightly fruity aroma with a touch of hops in the background. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied, smooth carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet malty taste, slightly fruity (honey); sweetbitter light-hopped finish. A bit too sweet and too yeasty, but all in all drinkable Zwickel-Pilsener.

Bottle (found in Haitabu by Yogi_beera): Hazy and golden coloured, thin but stable foamy layer; sweet-malty to bready nose with an illusion of herbal hops; stronger sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; longer sweet-bready (again) finish with a mild bitterness coming quite late. Nothing unpleasant detectable, but rather "unhoppy", all in all drinkable.....

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy greyish orange - almost Hefe appearance - with a small, creamy head. Soft and malty with some underlying bitterness and some weird nutty notes. Reminds me of the kind of pilseners you get at German brewpubs. Quite rustic and certainly different. 040303

The aroma is sweet malty with notes of honey and straw. The color is a hazy dark orange with a small white head. The flavor is malty, straw, honey, and a dry hoppy end. A boring not so pleasant pilsener.
