Apricot, orange, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet apricot, orange, caramel malt, and moderately bitter dry grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Nice - my favorite of the TexHex beers.

From a can. Pours a hazy orange gold with an off white head. Aromas of tangerines and mandarin oranges. Flavors are bitter citrus.

Beer send by Shiner for my comment. An almost solid hazy gold pour under a yellowish, foamy head. The usual piney nose is somewhat mellow, then a slight note of pineapple. But on the tongue, a big note of apricot juice and hop resin comes in. The full impression is kind of sweet, and keeps up the stone fruit. Alcohol is much more present here, nice and warming.
