Niepasi

Clear gold, tall white head. Aroma: grains, crackers, spicy and somewhat metallic hop. Similar taste. Light to medium ending bitterness. Not my favourite pilsner but ok.

Flowery aroma with a touch of orangy esters. Firm grassy hopbitter flavor. Fairly short hopbitter aftertaste. Decent hoppy pilsener, as might be expected from a brewery in a hop growing area.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear pale golden, rich head. Generous grassy hops dominate the aroma. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Distinctly grassy, light bready malt - more rounded than crisp in south German fashion. Long bitter finish. Refreshing.

Green 0,33 l bottle. As expected clear golden in the glass, nice white head. Mid sweet grainy nose. Start is more grainy than hop bitterness. Real tasty. Long lasting mid bitterness in the aftertaste. As a Pilsener I enjoyed it a lot.

"Spalter Premium Pils Nr. 1" (später: Spalter Nr. 1), Fläschchen von Edeka, Dinkelsbühl, 6.5.2014. - Strohgelb, blank. (Rev. 25.10.2025.)
