20/II/24 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: VIII/2024, lot# 2023053 (2024-111)

Pretty clear dark brown to almost black beer, big solid creamy beige head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, some candied orange peel, some dried fruits, dark chocolate, hazelnuts, coffee, grains. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: surprisingly sourish, good roast, alcoholic touch, malty, grains, a little sweet, caramel, some chocolate. Aftertaste: good roast, a little sour, a bit sweet, more caramel, fudge, dark chocolate, some whisky, bitter finish, more alcohol, a bit woody, spicy, cardamom.

Pours black, small to no white head. Scent is roasty, smooth, creamy vanilla. Taste is full, very roasty-smooth. Bit tar, some bitterness. Chocolaty, vanilla. Pretty smooth.

Black beer with a beige head. Aroma of mid sweet caramelized malt, chocolate, vanilla. Taste of sweet caramelized malt, vanilla, some dark fruits, coffee.

Taster from tap in Sint-Truiden. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells vanilla, nutty, spices. Very nice smell. Full body, light carbonation. Tastes vanilla, spices, cocoa, nutty. Finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of vanilla, cocoa and bitter chocolate notes. Very nice one, super smooth very easy to drink. Great stuff
