Borefts 2023. Very dark brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma and Taste of whiskey, Brandy, strong dark malt, coffee, chocolate, wood, boozy finish.

Keg at borefts. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, spice, brandy, taste is woody, toffee, chocolate, apple, spice.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is brandy barrel, big phenols. Taste is nice chocolate, cocoa, dash of bitterness, but again phenolic barrel. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Gazoleum indeed, but somehow works.

Op tap bij Borefts '23. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Vol in de spiritus, groene appels, ruikt erg heftig en de naam Gazoleum is hier goed gekozen. Gebrand, boozy, vol met smaak- en geurafwijkingen.

Pretty clear dark amber to brown beer, creamy beige head, unstable, little adhesive, Aroma: oxidized, smells like a typical De Molen B.A. beer, ripe to overripe melons, a bit dirty, meh. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: rather soapy, dirty, bad barrel ageing, don’t like it at all, gentle roast, meh. Aftertaste: very bitter, sugary, alcohol, plain whisky, lots of alcohol, too much of a dirty barrel going on here, don’t like it.
