Flip-top bottle: Hazy, golden to orangey coloured, small, firm but fluffy head; yeast, sweet malt and honey in the nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, soft MF; yeasty, bitter-sweet finish, that almost lingers a bit. A pleasant Kellerbier.......

(swing top bottle) Hazy golden colour with a short creamy, slightly off-white head. Sweet grainy and worty nose. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium body, low carbonation. Papery malty, grainy and yeasty taste; slim cardboardy finish with not much bitterness. Dull.

Bottled, 0.5ltr swing-top. (5 months past BB-date, and Georg Bader has left the label.) Hazy, yellow-orange with a creamy white head. Aroma with caramel, hops and a hint of alcohol. Flavor has the same caramel and hops, and some hints of vegetables as well. It has a mellow, medium body and finishes off with bitterness and some sweetness. A pleasant, quite rustic brew, that also has a grainy touch all the way, and in fact in a pleasant way. (060610)

Can
Hazy blond color. The aroma is lightly malty, but the taste is very watery.

A hazy orange beer with a very thin white head. The aroma is slightly dusty and hoppy, while the flavor has its primary notes of caramel - it tastes sticky but isn’t.

Bottle. Dusty, citric aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Small stable head. Malty flavour, seems a little oxidized or moldy. Citric aftertaste. Low carbonation and good mouthfeel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Simply called "Lauterbacher Keller-Bier" - no Georg Bader here, he must’ve left. Hazy golden beer with a creamy head leaving some lacework. Light malty aroma. Very malty with a weird cardboardish tang. Limited bitterness. 011005

Neutral aroma. Cloudy orange, white head. Some fruityness, but with a cardboardy aftertaste. Very light and unobstrusive. My father commented it tasted "like sticking the tounge out of the window", I am inclined to say he is right.
