Every year we brew a collab with De Mederie for their summer taproom. This year we brewed a Cold IPA. Single-hopped with Mosaic Cryohops, this beer is pale gold and full of bright tropical fruit notes. And why "Bella Ciao"? Because it's a cool song with a great message.

17/V/23 - on tap @ Stroom Brouwers (Gent), BB: n/a (2023-419)
Pretty clear gold blond beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, pretty fruity hops, peaches and other ripe summer fruit, some ripe mango, slightly floral, a little spicy touch, a hint of cardamom. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good malty backbone coming in first, gentle sweetness, some honey on the tongue, biscuit malts, whole grain bread, spicy bitterness, acidic touch, a bit dry, some citrus notes, just a little fruity. Aftertaste: malty flavours coming back after a little alcohol sting, more citrus, pleasant bitterness, hoppy, yellow summer fruits, some ripe cantaloupe melons, spicy to almost peppery finish, pleasant beer!
