Draught @ Pilot Project, Chicago (Sept 2023). Cloudy reddish amber with a large foamy beige head, faint vanilla aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter malt forward taste with faint vanilla flavor, thin body, long bitter finish. Well balanced brew.

16oz can. Another fully cringe inducing name/concept from Funkytown. Keep that feel good racist stereotype shit for the internet or elections. Not such a bad beer. What I imagine is rye malt fleshes it out some. Low ABV keeps it pretty drinkable. OK beer overall, a little streamlined, bland.

Aromas are very mild malt with a hint of hops. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, old school hop profile and very easy drinking. Don't know what's Belgian about it but nice beer.

16 oz. can, $2.99 single at Orange and Brew. Foamy pour, slightly hazy amber color. The nose is mainly a good balance of amber malts and straightforward beer hops. Guess that's the mix of American, German and English cones talking. Taste is full and hearty, with solid malts, and hop bitterness with a touch of pine, a touch of citrus, and a note of peat. Aftertaste is mainly malt. A nice beer that amplifies everything a beer should have. And in this alternate reality of RateBeer, I remain the Mayor of FunkyTown!
