Tap at Wenkers. Looks good in the glass. Mild malty sweetish aroma. Starts mild, malty, mild spicy. Some hints of cookies, mild sweetness. Not too intense. Light caramel touch. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice one!

Yes it’s trüb (cloudy). Hoppy, flowery flavor with the same honey character as found in the Wenker Heller Bock. A hint of licorice. Just a bit malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Very nice beer, pity I couldn’t finish it (had to drive).

On tap at Wenkers. Trübes hell orange goldenes Bier mit mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch leicht getreidig malzig, gering zitronig. Geschmack getreidig malzig, leicht zitronig hopfig.

0.1 l on tap at ’Wenkers’. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Faint, sweetish-malty aroma of straw and sweet malts with hints of citrus and honey. Sweetish-malty, slightly bitter taste of straw and sweet malts with hints of citrus and honey, followed by a short, slightly grassy, medium bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat. Okay.

Tap at Wenkers, Dortmund, 28/04/13. Murky orange/amber with a decent sized off white head. Nose carries orange, light tropical fruit notes, sugars, grass. Taste comprises orange pith, citrus, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter and fruit notes in a dryish finish. Decent refreshing Helles with a good depth of flavour.
