Pale colored, cloudy. Flowery aroma with citrus. Citric flavor, flowery, clove. Hint of banana. Friedly weisse with good thirts quenching capacities.

Sehr trübes dunkel goldenes Weizen mit einer großen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hefig, Nelke, fruchtig trocken. Geschmack bananig, leicht phenolisch, hefig, leicht würzig.

Draught @ Brauereigasthof Sauer by Brauerei Sauer, Jurastrasse 30, 96155 Gunzendorf, Bavaria, Germany.Hazy - murky medium orange color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, paper notes, moderate yeasty, fruity, clove, light banana. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100403]

Bottle, 5.2% bought at the brewery. Banana aroma, hint of chemicals. Cloudy dark orange colour. Big stable off-white head. Distinct banana flavour, slightly sweet. Not much citrus to balance.

Bottle (sampled at Barnikel, Herrnsdorf!): Hazy, pale golden, medium-sized white head with a little lace; lemony-fruity nose with a light touch of cloves; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied; lingering sourish-fruity-lemony finish. A nice thirst-quencher, not so demanding.......

Bottled at the brewpub. Hazy pale yellow, small head. Evident banana aroma. Sweet and very light bodied with lots of banana esters and a touch of strawberry. Dense, rounded mouthfeel. Quite refreshing. My favourite amongst the otherwise very restrained beers at Sauer Gunzendorf.

Hm. Hat irgendwas. Nicht so der Knaller, im Antrunk und Mittelteil leicht fruchtig und gut gehopft, aber irgendwie findet das Zeug bei mir gefallen. Der Nachgeschmack ist nicht sehr intensiv, um genau zu sein ist nur eine wässrige Hopfigkeit zu schmecken. Waeiß der Henker warum - mir schmeckts. Test vom 8.2.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,11,12,10,8,11 - 10,55

Aroma is mainly bananas. Bright yellow, big fluffy white head. Citric and banana flavors, wheaty base. Medium to light body. Quite refreshing weisse.
