Draught @ Brauereigasthof Sauer by Brauerei Sauer, Jurastrasse 30, 96155 Gunzendorf, Bavaria, Germany.Hazy - murky medium orange color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, paper notes, moderate yeasty, fruity, clove, light banana. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100403]

Bottle (sampled at Barnikel, Herrnsdorf!): Hazy, pale golden, medium-sized white head with a little lace; lemony-fruity nose with a light touch of cloves; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied; lingering sourish-fruity-lemony finish. A nice thirst-quencher, not so demanding.......

Bottled at the brewpub. Hazy pale yellow, small head. Evident banana aroma. Sweet and very light bodied with lots of banana esters and a touch of strawberry. Dense, rounded mouthfeel. Quite refreshing. My favourite amongst the otherwise very restrained beers at Sauer Gunzendorf.

Hm. Hat irgendwas. Nicht so der Knaller, im Antrunk und Mittelteil leicht fruchtig und gut gehopft, aber irgendwie findet das Zeug bei mir gefallen. Der Nachgeschmack ist nicht sehr intensiv, um genau zu sein ist nur eine wässrige Hopfigkeit zu schmecken. Waeiß der Henker warum - mir schmeckts.
