Tap at the bluejacket Brewpub. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, banana bread, phenols, bready grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy apple, banana bread, spicy clove, tangy sharp finish. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, moderate carbonation. Ok.

On tap at the Grand Delancey. Pours slightly hazy gold. Banana, clove, rye bread, pepper. Nice creamy body. Good.

16 oz. can. Aroma show some soft bubblegum and mild clove. Flavor is moderately strong clove, wheat, very subtle banana. Soft spice in the finish. Pretty easy to drink. Leans more on Belgian side but German yeast does show some character.

Refrigerated pint can poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is wheat esters, medium body, medium carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is clove, wheat esters, and banana.

Babyfood lemon, white grape and dinner rolls aroma. Shimmering amber, thin head. White grape, pear. Medium body, easy carbonation. More Belgian than Bavarian, but enjoyable. Very subtle banana notes do appear upon warming.
