Crisp, clean & classic, our homage to the bright, refreshing blond ales of Cologne, Germany is smooth, lightly-malted, slightly fruity & exceedingly crushable.

Hay nose. Clear thick head, fair retention. Hay, mild grain. Light body, easy carbonation. I'd pick this over macro lagers every time.

Light pure golden coloured body with a very thick, five to six centimetre tall pure white head with a lot of effervescence throughout. Aroma of crisp grain with a very light malt note, some softer bread and yeast scents and the smallest amount of very low alpha acid hops, perhaps a German hop? Light-bodied; Strong grassy and very herbal bite at first with a biscuity malt flavour and some very light sweet flavours that show a bit of honey, but mainly caster sugar and a touch of bread, but these are all very mild. Aftertaste shows the mellow hop flavours with a light yeast and bread flavour with some very subdued grainy and biscuity malt notes that show quite well and leave a dry palate with a faint dose of apples and pears. Overall, a very dry and mild malt-focused beer with a light lager yeast and bready finish that shows the faintest bit of sugars and hops. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, given to me by the Director of Operations of the brewery after a hockey game in Arlington (Ballston), Virginia in early 2019 - Thanks Erik!
