Nitro canned 10/25/23, drunk 12/31/23. Muddy dark caramel with a large, dark beige head showing good retention. Very fruity with earth, cellar, graham cracker and light toast on the finish. Clean, no booze, no butter. Big, round, deep malts. Lots of honey-like character from base malt mixing with the medium malts to give caramel, raisin and finishing with drier toastiness. Great fruitiness throughout, as well as peppery hop bitterness to help balance. Clean, malty, properly attenuated and with a characterful yeast.

Can (12/14/22) pour from Lazy Dog Beer Shoppe. It's a lightly hazy amber-rose with nice sparkle, 2-finger creamy tan nitro head with excellent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is earthy, toasted malt, caramel, nuts and mild spice (light a subtle winter warmer). Taste follows aroma, though less spicy. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy, nitro texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, aroma is stronger than taste. Light and enjoyable.

Pours murky deep mahogany into an English pint. Off-white micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Roasty dried pit fruit aromas. Soft with molasses, prune, raisin and brown bread front to back. Dry earthy pit fruit finish.

True to style. Creamy and smooth. Easing my way into Saturday night. Dark chestnut with foamy beige head. Nose is dried fruits and toast. Tastes of pumpernickel toast, fig, caramel. All subdued of course. Mellowed me right out after an epic tantrum my 2 year old just threw.
