Dark brown color. Malty, caramally aroma with nutmeg. Sweet malty flavor with hints of chocolate, cherry, nutmeg and a slight upcoming tartness. Not exactly my taste, but the quality is not too bad..

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a bit of sediment floating around under a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and straw. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of fruit, leading to a sweet caramel finish where a bit of yeast lingers.

Bottle, 6.5%. Spicy and vinous aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is quite spicy and a little sour. Not too old, though. Quite malty, dark malts. Good balance.
Rerate: Rather sweet, even too sweet, I guess. Not sour this time, but does have a tart edge. Same rating.
