The Hungarian Terroir Series was created for beers that are completely unique and unrepeatable. These beers are made with some special local ingredients, like fruits, spices or barrels. Furthermore the role of the producer is also very important. The first member of the series it's a collaboration brew with the Heumann Winery from Villány. Spontaneously fermented beer with Syrah pomace. After the fermentation we put the beer to Hungarian Syrah Red Wine Barrels for a year. The result is a very complex beer.Aroma is funky, a little brett and soft vinous notes. Taste is mildly sour with some Syrah red wine notes.

Dark blond colour with lacy head. Aroma and flavour have loads of winey sweetness and also complex yeasty funk.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A slightly hazy deep golden beer, no head. Aroma of grapes, riped fruits, soft tart pale fruits. Taste of soft tart and sweet grapes, yeast, brett.

Borefts 2018. Day 1. Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft + tasting glass. Orange. Nose is sweet grape, really good sweet thick fruity white wine. Taste is sweet desert wine with overripe fruit, funk, rich malty, white grape mashed, lingering, candy & funk, hay, barn, lively. Really good funky malty white desert wine profile, really liked it.

8 3 8 3 16Draft at Borefts Beer Festival ‘18. Hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of brett, citrus, vinous and floral notes and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet, bitter and light to moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is candy, grapes, Brausetablette. Taste is white wine, Brausetablette. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Too much Brausetablette for me.

Tap at Borefts 2018. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, zesty tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sour with a fresh, crispy, vinous, dry floral hop palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Yumyum, my kind of beer. Lightly tart, woody, just the right amount of wine, very light, easy drinking. Lovely balanced, tiny bit of honey sweetness combines well with the fruity wine and tart beer. Delicious.
