Hvid Bock is a strong beer with character and malt sweetness in taste that, despite its strength, has an almost winey lightness. It is brewed on a light malt from Fuglsang's own malt factory. The characteristic taste comes from the fact that the beer is stored for up to six months at a constant temperature just above freezing.

Pilsener-like color. Malty cookie dough aroma. Sweet flavor. Malt, butterscotch and cookies. Some bitterness. Somewhat sticky and alcoholic. Not too well balanced.

Can. Clear yellow, little to no head, little to no lacing. The aroma is malty and hoppy, not quite distinct, some caramel and grass maybe. Noticeable alcohol, some fruits, corn. The taste is heavy sweet, moderate to high bitter. The palate is oily, with a long bittersweet finish.

Big offwhite creamy lasting head. Clear deep yellow body with carbonation. Earthy sugary aroma with mealy notes. Pretty anonymous. Dry-sweet sugary mealy taste with vaguely herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Faintly sharp edges in mouthfeel. Dryish metallic mealy aftertaste with grassy fruity notes. It’s OK. It’s not bad, but it’s not good, either, it’s just something you can drink without disliking it. (0.5l can, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Boks fra Føtes, på hytta: kanskje litt urettferdig dagen etter cbc, men dette er kjedelige saker. "Ekstra kraftig gylden bock" får stå for bryggeriets regning. Vil dog prøve et par andre Fuglsang senere.

50 cl can @ Timo A, BBE 27.04.2013
Aroma is sweet with honey and malty notes. Flavour is odd with lots of nettles and herbs. Also some sweetish malt and honey. Also some peppery spices. Becomes rather sticky after some sips. Decent.
