Hvid Bock is a strong beer with character and malt sweetness in taste that, despite its strength, has an almost winey lightness. It is brewed on a light malt from Fuglsang's own malt factory. The characteristic taste comes from the fact that the beer is stored for up to six months at a constant temperature just above freezing.

50 cL can. Pours clear yellow with a creamy chalk white head. Hay, slight corn and sweet malt aroma. Esterish flavour, slight bubblegum and bitterness into the finish. Clear alcohol presence. Not good imho.

(33cl bottle) Clear, yellow colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Sweet, slightly perfumed malty nose, biscuit-like with an acidic touch. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character with a honey-ish fruity note; sweet malty finish with alcohol presence. This one tastes more like an European Strong Lager than a pale Bock.

330ml bottle. Pale golden body with a big white head. Slightly sourness in aroma and malt. Flavor is malty, sweet and sour, a bit sticky and not very balanced. Boring, boring!

BB 03/06. Clear gold with white creamy head. Sweet sweet fruity(orange/peach) & malty nose. Taste of the same with an easy alcohol taste. Good mouthfeel - filling body I A fuglsang with no citric/metallic taste - impressive. Believe this already has developed very well. The best beer from brewey ive had!

Can. Clear, golden, with a dense off-white head. Sweet, sugary aroma with alcohol and some grainy notes. Warming mouthfeel, and a flavor with sweetness, alcohol, malt and some grassy notes. Finishes off with warming alcohol, malt and some sweet notes. Maybe a bit too much on the alcohol side. (061005)
