Keg @ oluthuone Haka, Helsinki.
Poured light brown/deep amber in color.
Cold coffee up front, ashy almost, dry, chocolaty. Maple growing later on pretty much actually. Well. Ok.

16 ounce can. Closer to mahogany than amber in color, but I digress. Frothy tan head. Big coffee and maple aroma. First sip brings toasted malt and coffee notes. Maple flavor is a bit subdued. Light to medium bodied. Some nuttiness in middle. Coffee flavor finishes this out.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 6 Feb 2023) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of coffee, toffee, dark bread and maple syrup. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, caramel, dark bread, toffee, maple syrup and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a gentle maple touch. Very nice.

On tap at Man in the Moon. Dark amber/brownish with a small head. A lot of maple in this one, also coffee and caramel.

A reddish copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light coffee, light maple, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with coffee grind and maple, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
