Love Is Everywhere is a rich oatmeal porter infused with Madagascar vanilla beans. We used oats three ways in the brewing process (malted oats, flaked oats, and golden naked oats) to lend a silky mouthfeel. The vanilla is notable and yet this porter is eminently drinkable — rich and soft without tipping over into being too sweet.

Aromas are dark malt, toast and a hint of molasses. Flavors are similar to nose with an added just right measure of vanilla. Very well balanced. Ditto with bitter, sweet and carbonation. Or touch of astringency. Really nice.

Illegibly-dated can, drunk 3/9/26.
Lovely, tastefully-done vanilla balances the chocolatey-char of the stout. Clean and lightly sweet, seemingly. Bit of earthiness and such from the dark character with light raisin and moderate fruitiness on the end.
Soft and chocolatey initially, turning fairly bitter on the finish, more vanilla bitterness than roasted barley bitterness, which is a bit sharper and less pleasant. Soft and chewy texture, otherwise, with good malt and oat and good attenuation. If we could get rid of the heavy bitterness from the vanilla and get a bit more sweetness out of them that would be much better.

Can at home 07/01/2024 Roasted and medium sweet malty with notes of cocoa, lightly burnt brown sugar, coffee roast, with a medium plus body and mouthfeel, vanilla accented dark malty finish. Good stuff.
