Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark amber color with subtle transparency closer to the sides of the glass and a finger's worth of white foamy head which settled down at a nice pace and left some mild lace
Aroma: brown sugar, some maple syrup, light caramel/toffee malts and some light hints of sweet wafer
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas together in a sweet malty to sweet crackery sort of way; finishes sweet and semi-sticky
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper; some smoothness but also some sticky coating maple syrupy tones (I guess that was expected, and Lawson's did warn us - so there's that)
Overall: though I wasn't entirely thrilled about the stickiness in the feel, I was warned so I can't knock this beer too much and well, the aromas and flavors are well done.

Can pour at the DCBeer December 2025 share. Poured a clear copper orange color with a small white head. Aroma was sweet malts, a touch of maple syrup. Sweet, with some pleasant earthy notes. Nice.

Blik gedeeld door Keukeman, thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel amberkleurig bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van ahornsiroop. De smaak is vol fruitig, armhorn siroop en hop.

16 oz. can. Aroma is earthy with mild maple. Flavor follows with the addition of a mild smoke and almost a nutty hint. Body and texture are correct. It’s pretty good.

Brown with orange highlights and a small beige head that left decent lacing. Toasty and woody with faint maple, a bit of fruit and some astringency. Medium finish and body.

16 ounce can. Bright amber red color. Large, frothy tan head. Toasted malt aroma hints at maple and molasses. Rich, toasted malt flavor has notes of caramel, maple and root tonic. Subtle notes of molasses and earthy leaves. Sticky mouthfeel leads to a cloying, malty finish.
