Tap. Pours hazy golden yellow, medium white head, good lacing. Aroma is pine, grapefruit. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Much better than the two ratings

Fairly hazy golden and light amber coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall deep tan head that fades very slowly. Aroma of herbal, grassy and especially dank, resinous hops with some alcohol noticeable as well, without any real sweetness in the nose either. Medium-bodied; Grassy, herbal and very perfumey hop flavours dominate at the beginning with some soft biscuity malt and even wheat notes, but only a glimmer of sweetness and fruity aspects, without any real complexities on the end, either. Aftertaste is dry, very perfumey and grassy with a slight bitterness from the hops, but the main note here is the flowers, which seem stronger than any point before and give off some bitterness, but nothing too pungent, especially for the style. Overall, this one is missing something (or maybe a few things?), with malt, sweetness and some fruit or citrus notes, being a big factor of that as well. Decent to try, but not one of their better IPAs! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom, Eye Street NW), D.C. on 31-May-2021 (Memorial Day) for US$4,99, canned on 23-March-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 10-July-2021.
