(Bottle, Foersters Feine Biere, Steglitz, Berlin, 9 May 2019) Dark amber colour with lasting, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grain, apricots and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, grain, toast and a balanced herbal bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Gott.

I''m sorry for this really sympathetic brewery that I visited some weeks ago, but this beer is hardly drinkable. Malty and soapy aroma. Malty, hoppy, soapy flavor with caramel. Medium bodied. Clear barnyard smell and a skunky aftertaste.

*Old rating, best before 24.08.(10). Würzig-malziges Bier, leicht röstig, schön würzig ohne zu viel Tiefe.

Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Lightly hazy pale amber, mid sized head. Grass, mineral and bread up front. Dry with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Light roasty malt, faint notes of cocoa and smoke. Plenty of grass and minerals. Mid bitter finish. Relaxed and harmonious. As far from gypsy brewed single hop imperial bretty saisons, barrel aged on chili and cocoa nibs as you can come. A beer made for drinking.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, but not washy, malty, modest roasty-earthy. More and more boring malty, a bit metallically. Okay, but not more.
