Draught @ Mayhem, Manhattan (Feb 2024). Clear reddish brown with a creamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste with plum and spices, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Smooth brew.

16oz can pours a clear, garnet amber with some sticky off white head. Nose has malt and caramel, root veg, bread. Flavor is dark dough and brown sugar and malt. Straight up alt. Easy to drink. Dry finish. Solid carb. Nice.

Tap at the brewery in Brooklyn. A clear copper coloured pour with a lasting greyish head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty malts, soft wheat, raisin, waxy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, waxy nutty malts, malt loaf, raisin, toasted malts, raisin, trail mix. Palate is semi sweet, rounded moderate carbonation. Good.
