An oppulent double mashed coffee and vanilla imperial stout. Expect rich, full bodied coffee flavours with sweet notes of vanilla on the finish. Tantalisingly moreish, unforgettably decadent.

Black beer, thick tan head. Hefty smell of coffee. Flavour has coffee, lots of sweet vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, malt. Rich body, a little boozy warmth. I think it stays the right side of sickly but it's a close run thing.

Can picked up from Saveur-Biere webshop Frentin nr Lille France and consumed at home Wednesday 9th January 2022 listening to Gideon Coe on 6 Music, we had Fish Pie with Broccoli for tea. Pours black with a tan coloured head (as I recall) it seemed to disappear quickly. Coffee, vanilla and chocolate on the nose. Thick in the mouth, oh my far too sweet, cloyingly, artificial and absolutely dripping with lactose. Can't get on with this at all, it's diabetes in a can.

Can from The Booze Shop, Sowerby Bridge. Black-brown pour looking like oil, with its density obvious in the palate. Coffee is strong in its aroma, and although not quite as stated in its taste is still aplenty here. Rich in its aftertaste, this combined with its thickness makes it a slow supping brew, with its strength also a factor in this.

440ml can. Black with a very thin brown head. Aroma of sweet coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is extremely sweet, coffee, vanilla, lactose, chocolate, a touch of roast malt - not enough. Full bodied, thick , smooth. Great stout just wish it had more roastiness.
