The classic, rich porter has a delicate balance of roasted, rye and aromatic malts which has been treated to a cold steep coffee addition with beans from our pals at Hasbean. Blended into this is a rich and maple syrup to create a beautiful balance of intense coffee and sweet, smokey maple.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 23/05/21. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is big on maple syrup, dark malts, brown sugars, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises sweet malts, brown sugar dusting, chocolate biscuit, light spice, dark malts, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent enough porter ... good maple streak flowing within.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. An opaque dark brown coloured pour with a lasting creamy tan head. Aroma is rich earthy roast, some ash, nutty roast, bitter coffee, soem maple sweetness edges. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, maple, ashy bitter roast, dry bitter coffee, some rounded sweetness, but not enough in my view. Palate is semi sweet, mellow powdery carbonation and bitter finish. Big bold flavour.
