Diplomatic – De beer ontmoet de adelaar. De smaak van volle, zware, geroosterde mout en zwart fruit van de Russian Imperial Stout gecombineerd met het meer bittere, fruitige, zelfs frisse en hoppige karakter van de American Stout. Tonen van koffie en karamel ontbreken natuurlijk niet.

Bottle @ home. Jet black color, decent sized dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, quite heavy roast, a lot of liquorice and liquorice bitter. Flavor is similar, roast, again liquorice, bitter. Medium body, decent to medium carbonation. Ok.

Bottle. Black medium tan head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Licoricey. Moderate sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

6 3 7 3 13Bottle shared at KJUBZT November ‘18. Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, malt and coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at kermis’ birthday. Black with big light brown head. Roast, light licorice, sweet malts, dead leaves, soft peat, dark chocolate, soft milk chocolate 🍫 too. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied.

Bottle from Bierkonig. Black with a tan head. Aroma of toasted chocolate malt. Flavour is coffee vanilla, roast malt, dark licorice finish.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik. Dark color, medium creamy head. Aroma of mocha, dark fruit and licorice. Bit salty licorice in taste, roasty bitterness. Actually pretty decent for a de Leckere brew.
