Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of thewolf. It pours a slightly unclear golden body with some floaties. Off-white head. Spiced and citrusy aroma with pale malt. The flavor is much the same, but more on the fruity side. Lacks bitterness, I think. Dry and full-bodied, slightly sticky, and quite effervescent. A pleasant and well-tasting beer, but lacking the final touch. (080823)

Bottled 75 cl (BBE 03/2009)
Golden color, steady white head, floating particles. Fruity-yeasty aroma, some banana and Saaz-like hops as well. Medium-bodied. Tripel-like sweet bitterness. Sweetish fruity flavor: peach, banana, light hops and some alcohol. Sweeter than Belgium triples, which is not a suprise for being Dutch. Balanced brew.

750ml bottle, I know this has been on the self of New Beer for at least a year, finally decided to pick this up. Actually, had it last summer at HWOH, which was provided by WillBlake. From then I knew I liked it and would drink again. Pours muddy, hazy orange with lots of thick stuff/sediment. Aroma is orange marmalade, yeasty wet basement, thick fruity cookie dough. Definitely some age showing in the smell but well liked by me. Taste is slighty old/sour blanket with stale fruit and bready maltiness. Lots of depth but starting to go downhill on the flavor. Medium body with slight below moderate carbonation. Low bitterness with a stale bread aftertaste.

Pours light amber into a tulip. Tight Belgian micro head slowly recedes with little lacing. Honey and alcohol aromas. Slightly sticky with upfront caramel and a lasting hop finish.

Bottle, 8%. Yeasty aroma, some sweet fruits. Cloudy orange colour, small white head. The flavour is peppery with some bitterness. Also slightly sweet, fruity. Distinct medium bitterness, rather pleasant. Good mouthfeel, a bit swelling. Nice, warming aftertaste, quite yeasty.

An orange beer with sediment floating around and a beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and yeast - and the flavor is like the aroma with the yeast very accentuated.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber golden and very unclear, lots of floaties, with a thick, creamy and quite retentive head. Sweetish, fruity nose. Lots of sweet caramel malt pretty much balanced by a dry, bitter hopping. 280705
