Almost clear deep gold, big off-white head. Aroma: humble fruity notes - apricots? Sharp spicy phenolic notes. Medium sweetness with a honey fruit profile, spicy bitterness with a good deal of alcoholic head. Simplistic and straightforward, still decent.

Hoppy, flowery, malty aroma and taste. Citrus and alcohol clearly present. Yeasty. Very well laced. Bottle. Pours golden. Aroma and flavor are Belgian yeast, sweet, bitter, massive sugar, fruits, not much of the promised hops. Okish.

Aus der Flasche (bottled 13.05.2014/bbe 13.11.2015) im 2014-10 getrunken. Ein leckeres Abbey Tripel mit recht leichten Körper. 7/3/6/3/8 Aus der Flasche (bottled 13.05.2014/bbe 13.11.2015) im 2022-09 getrunken. Nun fast 8 Jahre später nachdem ich genau dieses Bier schon mal im Glas hatte, hat es deutlich mehr Körper bekommen. Besonders diese leicht harzigen Noten machen hier Spaß. Sicherlich immer noch nicht komplex und sicher gibt es bessere Vertreter dieses Stiles, aber lecker ist dieses dennoch! 8/4/7/4/10

Brilliant white frothy head stayed on a finely carbonated dark golden body. Sweet fruity aroma with nectarine. Medium bodied, a prickly palate & a soft clean finish. Very fruity tastes of peach, yeast & banana
