Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 17/05/22. Deep claret to Beetroot pour with a reddish cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is decadent chocolate, light spice, toasted brown sugars, nutty, light herb, earthy tones. Taste comprises bitter sweet dark chocolate, light beetroot tunes, brown sugar melt, molasses, toffee, dark malts, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Can at home picked up from HOTM. A beautiful Deep purple coloured pour with a lasting crimson purple head. Aroma is ruby chocolate, berries, red velvety cake, blackberry, earthy notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy chocolate, wooland blackberry, ruby chocolate, red velvet cake, earthy finish. Really well balanced and surprisingly drinkable for a concept beer. Palate is semi sweet, solid bodied, light tang, mellow carbonation. Really well balanced and surprisingly drinkable for a concept beer. Superb.

440ml can. Pitch black with a vibrant reddy-pink head. Aroma of chocolate and beetroot. Taste of chocolate, roast malts, and beetroot, which I didn't get much of at first but it's definitely there - an odd flavour combo but I think it works. Sweet, cake-y, medium-full bodied. Good stuff, and a greater cause.

Can from the House of Trembling Madness. Pours aubergine with a red-purple head. Looks like the most beetrooty incarnation of this project to me. Let's see! Aromas are chocolate and earthy beetroot. Taste is more of the same. I almost imagine a light vinegar note At the back, but I think it's just heavy on the beetroot. Gets cakey at the end.
