In July 2021, Good Things--a brewery just down the road from us--burnt to the ground after being struck by lightning.
These guys were going from strength-to-strength so it was a huge shock to us all.
Thankfully, they’ve been reborn as Allkin Brewing and earlier this month we joined forces to brew RON, a foggy-as-you-like wheat heavy IPA hopped with gargantuan amounts of Idaho-7 and Centennial for bold flavours of pineapple, rose, orange, pine and pink grapefruit.

0,44 boks fra Jeroboams, på min faste benk i solskinnet på Crouch End: lett uklar strågul med fint skum som varer. Besk grapefrukt, brød, gule stikkelsbær og lyse tropiske frukter. For så vidt god drikke, men den nødvendige mermsaken uteblir. Spelt er en del av maltbasen sammen med bygg og hvete.

[ As Beak / Allkin Ron ].
ABV: 6.5%. Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - grapefruit, orange, fruity hops, pineapple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, citrus - grapefruit, fruity hops, pineapple, orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Can at home, 22nd April 2022. Pours a hazy yellow. Aroma is orange sherbert and grapefruit. Taste is dry, and medium bitter, pithy grapefruit and pineapple. Very decent

440ml can. Hazy golden yellow, white head. Aroma of mango, grapefruit, piney resin. Taste of grapefruit, pine, resin, mango and pineapple, dry and bitter citrus peel finish.
