This super fruity IPA was brewed for the return leg of our collaboration with the lovely people at Verdant. Ella, Citra and Sabro combine for flavours of bergamot, grapefruit and orange, all amplified by a gentle juicy acidity.
To produce this 6.5% IPA, we naturally acidified a portion of wort using lactic acid bacteria, which was added to the kettle to lower the pH pre fermentation. The increased acidity doesn’t sour; instead, it allows the hops to remain bright, lively and juicy at such high hopping rates. We’re really happy with the results. It’s so smooth and creamy with flavours reminiscent of white grape, tangerine and orange with a gentle coconut finish.

Аромат очень яркий и приятый. Много фруктов прежде всего. Есть немного ананасов, а также немного цедры от грейпфрута, и в целом цитрусовые ноты, намеки на маракуйю. Цвет очень мутный, желтый и приятный, пенка белая. Вкус очень сбалансированный и яркий, уже хмель проявляет себя. При глотке есть весьма сильная горчинка. Цитрусы после трав. В целом отличная ипа, хоть и весьма с хмельком.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Nose is tropical fruit, pineapple, peach,kiwifruit. Taste is peach, mango, pineapple, lots of sweet fruit. Sweet fuit mouthfeel, hint of grapefruit in the close. Nice.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 29/04/22. Hazed orange with a good sized off white crown. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, light pine nip, grapefruits, airy malts. Taste comprises orange squash, ripe melon, pine needle, grass, papaya, mandarin, grassy bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking IPA.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingman. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma s soapy citrus, cif, melon, soft wheat, bready, urinal cakes, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, layered citrus, little soapy, spicy citrus. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation.

Can at home, 10th March 2022. Pours a light hazy orange. Aroma is fresh oranges, aromatic, tropical fruits, like coconut. Taste is bright, orange, citrus, light coconut, pleasant. Good one

440ml can. Aroma of coconut, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste of sweet creamy coconut, orange and grapefruit, pineapple, grape, a little pithy bitterness. Medium bodied. Great collab.
