10/6/2023. Can shared at SBGP3. From Craft Metropolis, Penge. Pours thick black with a large frothy rich tan coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, coffee, hint of nutmeg. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Full bodied, creamy, average to soft carbonation. Lovely coffee and chocolate finish, and does pick up some of the Oolong milk tea (which we tried quite a bit of in Taiwan recently). Overall really good.

Forholdvis pålitelige notater fra en travel dag på The Great British Beer Festival, London 02.08.22: 0,33 boks delt med Egil. Brunsvart, tett skum som varer helt ned. Gedigen smak og munnfylde med kardemomme, lactose, vanilje, dessertkaffe, kinesisk te, sjokolader med bjørnebærfyll og en endeløs mersmak.

From can at GBBF with Holmen1 03.08.22. Ebony. Dark brown head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla and sweet dark malt. Good! Smooth mouthfeel.

330ml can. Black with a tan brown head. Aroma of chocolate, tea and spices. Taste is sweet, chocolatey, tea, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla... all the flavours are there, also caramel, some coffee bitterness to finish, a little warming alcohol. Full bodied, thick, smooth. Excellent.
