This year's collaboration brew for Cheltenham Beer Week celebrates our return to normal - albeit with changes - and we have called it 'New Era', our English Summer Ale. With the combined efforts of nine breweries from all over Gloucestershire, and making use of some high-quality local hops Brook House Hops, this is an exciting collaboration brewed close to home.

'New Era' is a refreshingly light and hop-forward beer which serves up grapefruit and pine notes from UK-grown Phoenix and Chinook hops, as well as sweet biscuity and caramel flavours from the malt.

Can acquired as a Christmas present. Mildly hazy golden ale with a bubbly-frothy head. Hoppy with an underlying 'English' fruitiness, and fairly easy to drink. Develops a bitterness in its finish.

Cask at Stroud Brewery. Clear gold, thin white head. Citrusy hops and pale malts on the nose. Taste is citrusy and biscuity, bitter finish. Light-medium bodied. An easy drinking pale to cater to the masses I suppose.
