It feels like an age since we last dropped a DIPA doesn’t it? The style in which we pride ourselves so heavily has taken a little bit of a back seat more recently as we navigate through everything the universe seems determined to throw at us, but we’re back with aplomb to remind everyone of our hype juice credentials here with Double Gold. Featuring an equal split whirlpool addition of both Citra and Simcoe to bring some pithy bitterness to the party and slathered with a nutsy 22g/l dry-hop charge of Strata, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, Idaho 7, Galaxy, and Citra, this is an all out fiesta of new school juiciness. A DIPA made exclusively for the hop-heads, expect to find a doubly decadent beer filled to the nines with passionfruit, gooseberry, pineapple, mango, stonefruit and dank weed notes littered throughout.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 30/05/2026.
Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that veers to the edge.
Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, pine resin, mandarin, grass, subtle hop spice.
Taste comprises grapefruit, mango hint, grass, pine resin, light dank nip, bitter orange, guava.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow rising boost.
Tidy DIPA.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth if fairly light bodied pale malts, a pleasant creamy sweetness. Hops bring cooling pine. A refreshing edge of bitterness into light savoury skunk. Light but reasonably juicy hop fruits, fairly broad spectrum, no surprise given the hop bill. Rounded citrus and stone fruits, lesser tropical fruits. Very mild hop spice. Light finish. Comes together well. For me, there is an inherent rightness to this dipa.

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Covering white head over an opaque grey-golden body, clingy lacing. Dough fruity aromas, hints of pineapple, Wheat fruity flavours added by pineapple and a tropical twist. Welcome moments of fruity bitterness to a long-lived finish. Well bodied. Pretty nice. Cans from Lupe Pintos. Milky golden body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pineapple, brioche and overripe peach. Flavour follows the aroma - punchy and sweet. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and dank.
