A big frothy head sits atop a golden sunburst, with marmalade and lime peel upfront, followed closely by pink grapefruit and cracked pepper with a punchy crispness. Hops rule the roost with this classic West Coast IPA, pushing those resinous, pine-led notes before drifting away with a bitterness on the tail end that will have you hoping for another large sip.

Keg at Small Bar, Bristol, 07/10/23. Clear golden with a just off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is citric sherbets, grass, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises grapefruit, mandarin, citric tinged straw, crisp malts, hint of pine, orange zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy hop bitterness. It's okay but expected better.

440ml can. Almost clear golden, white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and slightly earthy pine. Taste of citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange, peel, pine, resin, sweet caramel, moderate bitter finish lingering. Decent.
