This All-American TIPA is inspired by our own All-American Dan AKA the Head Brewer. Named after his favourite band, designed by his son and of course using his 3 favourite hops from the USA, this beer is truly a celebration of our Dan.

Can from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lime chutney, lemon sponge and toasted coconut. Flavour of mango and pine. Full body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Easy to drink for 10% ABV.

440ml can. Murky yellow gold, white head. Aroma of ripe citrus, mango, dank. Taste is quite dank, ripe mango, orange, grapefruit, pine, bitter pithy finish.

Can. Hazy whitish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light for its abv, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth light creamy malts. The hops bring crisp pine and a decent nibble of hop spice that never turns into the dreaded hop burn. Of the 3 hops used here, the El Dorado is the most obvious to me with an obvious Sakura, but that old warhorse Citra, is right up there with crisp citrus. Idaho 7 fills in the background nicely. Crisp finish brings more hop spice and an intense hop fruity finish that is getting slightly candyish. Hop spicy linger. Does anyone in the UK pump out more dipas than Overtone? Dunno! But they have done loads and they have reached a standard which is pretty impressive. Do I need to pay ÂŁ12 or more for the latest US imports when we have homegrown goodness like this? Well sometimes, but nowhere near as much as I used to.
