Bottle from Transient. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates quickly. Big peppery rye whiskey aromas with vanilla, oak and maple syrup as it warms. Coffee and loads of maple syrup on the palate with more rye whiskey and toasted maple with vanilla and warming whiskey flavors. Big, bold, and chewy, full bodied imperial stout with great flavor and punch. This is good.

Big beer. Thanks to Greg. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium tan head. A big boozy sweet nose, fruit, dark chocolates, some nutty elements. Rich flavors, some sweet chocolates, vanilla, coffee, maple sticky sweetness. Very nice. It works well.

Thanks Gregg for sharing! Taster showing deep brown with sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows intense notes of dark chocolate, maple syrup, and roasted malts. The palate is well carbonated and full bodied. Oily and slick with a moderate alcoholic spiciness. Moderately sweet with dark chocolate and roasted malts with a dark cacao bitterness.

Once in a while, you come across a beer that makes you happy to have had it and sad you don't have another. This beer is that. Black brown pour with a thin head. Aroma is amazing!! Coffee, maple, vanilla, bourbon. Taste is creamy, viscous, coats the palate with balanced integrated flavors of vanilla, coffee, maple, bourbon, brownie batter. Not overly sweet but just right. So lucky to have had this.

22 oz bottle. 2018 vintage. Aroma of coffee, vanilla, Bourbon. Wow!! The flavor is awesome! Coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and a lasting whiskey finish. No alcohol flavor and I am blown away that this is over 14% ABV! Really well integrated. Holy hell!!
Bottle in secret santa box, wonderful flavor, balance, so well crafted. I want more.
