Jan 2010: Stumpy brown 0.33 litre bottle, one months life left according to the label. Poured into my ’La Chouffe’ stemmed tulip shaped glass. Looked like a regular pilsner/lager, bright golden and clear, with a big snow white head on top. Grass, cereal smells. Gets my standard score of 3 for a lager/pilsner. Tasteless, this is a really boring beer with nothing going for it in the flavour stakes at all. Might be OK on a sunny terrace or beer garden in Germany, but on a cold winters evening in Shropshire it didn’t hit the spot. No body or depth, no anything, very watery and weak throughout.

Bottle. Creamy barley malt and light grass aroma. Golden yellow with giant white head. Sweet milky malt and moderately bitter grass/quinine flavor. Pretty good.

Bottle, 4.8%. Clear golden colour, small white head. The flavour has OK bitterness, otherwise strangely sweet with veg notes.

Is in Ordnung das Bier. Test vom 14.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,9,9,7,9 - 8,70

(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Dry malty doughy nose with grassy hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium body, crispy mouthfeel. Balanced initial malty taste and hopbitter finish. Clean and well-made low-priced beer.
