Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple. Beer in the glass with a small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light spicy touch. Shy bitter notes. Finish could be more balanced. Okay.

0,33 l Steini bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! BB 07/25. Now listed with 4.9% abv. Clear golden with a more than one finger white foamy head in the glass. Looks good. Grainy caramel on the nose, intensive grassy. taste starts grainy with a load of bitterhop. Also pleasant bitterness in the auftertaste. Mid carbonation. Decent Northern German Pilsener.

Bottle: Pale golden, visible carbonation, small white foamy layer, mild dry grassy-grainy nose; very light bodied, harsh, dry bitter flavour, low sweetness; slightly lingering finish of the same qualities. Typical cheap german Pilsener, qualities of a real Pilsener are - as expected - not detectable...

Faintly fruity urine-like aroma. Sweet and soapy. Very bland, only a hint of hops in the aftertaste. It's just bad, even for a supermarket pilsener.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local ’Dursty’, best before August 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Faint, sweetish aroma of grains, some straw and a touch of cardboard. Slightly sweetish, minimally bitter, grainy and a little grassy-spicy taste of grains, some straw and a bit of cardboard, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit grassy-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very good, but drinkable.
