Can at home in Hackney - think I got it from HOTM. Pours black with a foamy, tan head. Light sweet flavour, pretty sturdy ashy roast, earth, tobacco, old wood, a hint of dry and bitter baking powder. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, more ash, scorched earth. Not bad for low alc.

440ml can. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate and mild coffee roast. Taste is the same, chocolatey and roasty, both somewhat mild but definitely there, there is some creamy vanilla too, though I note that the rather lengthy ingredient list includes no mention of this, so how they get away with calling it a vanilla stout is beyond me - big pet peeve right there! It's a good AF stout to be fair, but doesn't live up to the standard set by their pales. I'd suggest actually putting in some vanilla if you're going to call it a vanilla stout!
